The truth can be uncomfortable sometimes because it requires facing our shadows... like an experiment, we don’t know what will happen from being true but we have to take the risk to see how life might be different. Make mistakes, blow things up, let go and try new things again. Don’t be afraid. You don’t know what you don’t know. Being true to oneself does not have to feel like an internal struggle, it can be a laboratory, an open-ended work in progress. We can be our own experiment, working in the dark room to reveal new truths in the negative film. Light and darkness go hand in hand because they cannot exist separately on their own. Embrace the process. It takes courage and openness, it requires being strong and soft at the same time.
